Get ready to dive into outdoor activities like climbing, canoeing, archery, and bushcraft—because who wouldn't want to feel like a contestant on a survival show?
We’ll sneak in some IGCSE revision lessons in the morning, because let's face it, learning is key… even if it doesn’t quite match the excitement of laser tag! And no need to fret, we've got thrilling day trips lined up to York and Flamingo Land Theme Park and Zoo— for Roller Coaster adrenaline rushes and Historic City culture.
What we do
Rock climbing, Abseiling, Canoeing, Archery, Fencing, Zip lines...and Physics, and English?!
All of our activities are designed to help students develop important life skills such as leadership and team working skills. The plan is designed to help the students grow in confidence, develop character and become more resilient. The experience will also provide the opportunity for your child learn new life skills, adapt positively to change, and see setbacks as opportunities to grow.
We want our students to wind down after the academic year, and participating in outdoor activities has shown to reduce stress and anxiety, increasing students mindfulness and well-being.

To supercharge their learning, we offer exciting daily morning revision sessions where students can dive IGCSE Physics or English (Maths or Chemistry available on request). Afternoon Adventures
Get ready for an unforgettable thrill ride with Adventures!
Experience afternoons bursting with excitement as we explore a variety of exhilarating activities! Whether you're scaling indoor and outdoor climbing walls feeling the adrenaline rush of abseiling, every moment is packed with fun. Unleash your inner adventurer with bushcraft like fire and shelter building, or paddle through the waters with kayaking and river canoeing. Test your aim with archery or dive into the competitive spirit of laser tag. There's something for everyone, promising incredible memories in the great outdoors!
Accomodation
Dearne Valley is a unique blend of nature, adventurous activities, and contemporary purpose built eco-accommodation.
Dearne Valley is situated in South Yorkshire, it is an environmentally sustainable activity centre, complete with one of Europe’s largest solar panels and an on-site water treatment plant.
Rooms range from 4 to 16-bed dormitories, some with en-suite, with gender-separated bathroom and shower facilities. Adventure Lodges are also available for the ultimate adventure experience, or you could try our brand new Eco Pods!
